iLendingDIRECT Pledges $50,000 to AFLA 2017 Charity, American Red Cross
Menomonee Falls, WI – The Automotive Fleet and Leasing Association (AFLA) recently announced the American Red Cross as their 2017 Charity of the Year partner during last month’s annual conference in San Diego, CA. AFLA highlights a charity each year, encouraging members to support the charity through volunteerism and/or donations. Marvin McClain, Director-Enterprise Fleet for American Red Cross, gave a presentation highlighting the organization’s impact within the AFLA attendee audience, as well as the global community, and their current support needs.
Directly following McClain’s presentation, Nancy Fitzgerald, iLendingDIRECT President, pledged a donation of $50,000 in the coming year to support the mission and services provided by the American Red Cross. “I am so deeply moved by the work that the American Red Cross does on a daily basis. They are true heroes in a time of desperate need for those they serve. It is an honor and a privilege to help American Red Cross continue to provide the life-saving services they give to those in need. iLendingDIRECT’s mission is to protect and empower through education, innovation and smart financial solutions. We are dedicated to changing live and giving back to the community,” Fitzgerald said.
“Our members have a rich history of supporting worthy charities; AFLA’s giving program, begun last year, mirrors this strong commitment to community and to those charities that serve the communities in which we live and work. We are proud to support the Red Cross, and we are humbled by Nancy’s passion for giving and by her generous pledge.” Michael Beiger, AFLA President, said.
